The american hairless rat terrier is popular with the kennels and will easily accept training.
Their skin is very soft, smooth and silky; it can be of any color, but freckled and spotted patterns are the most common. These dogs are small to medium-sized, very refined and elegant. The miniature variety measures under 13 inches tall and the medium-sized stands 13-18 inches at the withers.
