Dog Rat Terrier
The dog rat terrier has cute puppies and is not often found in rescues.
These small animals were used as ratters, and relying on their expertise in killing rats was a favorite hobby of some owners. They were crossed with Whippets or Italian Greyhounds for their speed and Beagles for their hunting ability. Eventually, these tough little pets evolved into today's known breed.

They are somewhat territorial and stubborn, but are likely to make friends with strangers. They are very quick, playful and are not yappers.
